Black Light

Black Light is an exercise in variability and rapid prototyping. Size, distribution and frequency of perforations are controlled using iterative computational design processes, digitally mapped onto a surface and 3D printed using laser-sintered nylon powder. The resulting white 3D printed part is dyed in a black synthetic dyebath, requiring no other post-production before assembly using a store-bought light cord.
